USC Students for Syria has prioritized English language learning in professional and multicultural capacities for adult populations of refugees residing in Southern California through its dedicated student volunteer networks. USC SOS provides in-home, one-on-one English tutoring lessons for adult refugees residing in El Cajon, Glendale, and Anaheim respectively. These sessions are two hours on Sundays and offer volunteers the opportunities of participating as an English tutor weekly or biweekly.
